Sweet Kale Smoothie - Vegelia - Sunrider products for a healthy lifestyle

Kale may not be the prettiest green to look at, but it's one of the most nutrient-dense vegetables around! This leafy green is overflowing with vitamin A, K, B6 and C - which promotes healthy eyesight; strong bones; immune system support; cardiovascular health; and a positive mood. Potassium - an important mineral for the heart muscles - can also be found in this leafy green while manganese contributes to building healthy connective tissue.

To add additional nutrients to it, add a splash of Evergreen for an easy way to get the powerful antioxidants and phytonutrients of dark leafy vegetables in one tasty shot.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups kale leaves
  • 1 ripe pear, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 15 green grapes
  • 6 ounces fat-free plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons avocado, chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 splash of Evergreen 

Directions

  1. Add all the ingredients except vegetables/fruits first
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Add the vegetable/fruits
  4. Blend until smooth
  5. Add a few ice cubes and serve the smoothie
  6. Enjoy!
